Ms. Shanice Mae Hutchins

Ms. Shanice Mae Hutchins, the daughter of Essie Mae Hutchins and John Clinton Hutchins, was

born on September 3, 1994 in Snellville, Georgia. She began her walk with the Lord at an early age as

a member of Raymond Hill Baptist Church. Shanice spent her entire life in Snellville, where she

received her education in the Gwinnett County Public School System. During those formative years,

Shanice developed a love of music. She played the trumpet in the school band. Shanice loved to cook.

She had a big heart coupled with a captivating spirit. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

Shanice has a unique ability to lift the spirits of those around her. She absolutely relished being a mother.

Shanice transitioned from this earthly life on Saturday, January 3, 2026, at her workplace, Superica Restaurant

in Dunwoody, Georgia. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Ed Willie Wells, Sr. of

Waynesboro, Georgia; her uncle, Ed Willie Wells, Jr. of Millen, Georgia; and her father’s paternal grandparents:

Marshall Hutchins and Isabelle Hutchins, of Snellville, Georgia. She leaves to cherish her memories two loving

children: Jaquez N. Green and Taliya R. Shamley Black of Snellville, Georgia; her loving parents: Essie Mae

Hutchins and John Clinton Hutchins of Snellville, Georgia; one sister, Shanika Hutchins, Snellville, Georgia;

one brother, Marshall Hutchins, Snellville, Georgia; her maternal grandmother, Trudie Mae Wells,

Millen, Georgia; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friend.

Celebration of Life Service for Ms. Shanice Mae Hutchins will be held Tuesday, January 27, 2026, at 12:30, at Raymond Hill Baptist Church, 1495 S. Crestview Dr., Snellville, GA 30078.

Interment: Raymond Hills Cemetery
